Boston Machine

Boston Marine big

Boston Machine, trading under the Blaslov Fishing Group, is located in South Australia’s seafood capital, Port Lincoln. Established in 1980’s, Boston Machine focus on providing fresh, premium seafood whilst preserving the environmental sustainability of the industry.

To assist with the maintenance and cleaning of their fishing boats, NTP Forklifts Australia recently delivered a Manitou 180ATJ-RC Access Machine.

The 180 ATJ articulated platform has a capacity of 230 kg and a working height of 17.65 m. It allows Boston Machine to reach the most inaccessible areas of their fishing boats with ease. Its all-terrain capabilities make it an ideal working companion on uneven sites.

The ATJ platform allows 2 crew members to work at great heights safely and comfortably within the spacious basket. The raising of the platform can be achieved in under 40 seconds with 4 simultaneous movements (spreading of the arms, activation of the telescopic equipment and the turret rotation).

The Mantiou 180 ATJ platform is fitted with all the necessary safety features including the dead man’s pedal, safety valves on the lifting controls, control panel in the basket as well as the ground and negative breaking just to name a few.

Boston Marine director Justin Nelligan is impressed with their new addition adding it would be a great asset to the business by decreasing the time it makes to maintain and clean the boats.
