Growing their Manitou Fleet

Brown’s Fertiliser is a growing retail sales business owned by Impact Fertilisers; one of the largest integrated fertiliser businesses on the east coast of Australia. Brown’s Fertiliser has operated for over thirty years, with a reputation for great service and agronomic advice.

The company currently has a 20 year old Manitou machine in use over the Koo Wee Rup and Maffra sites. To keep up with their needs, the tired machine required updating. NTP Forklifts Australia supplied Browns Fertiliser with 3 x Manitou MLT-X732 with custom fertilizer buckets.

The MLT-X 732 has a lift height of 6.9m and a maximum capacity of 3.2 tonne. Equipped with a 95 hp engine and torque converter it gives more than enough strength and power needed for Brown’s Fertiliser’s operations. The telehandler has a Powershuttle 4 speed gearbox for a good range of speed options. This allows for better performance and productivity based on the specific application.

The team at Browns Fertilisers were impressed with their new Manitou MLT-X732 machines. The heating and cooling inside the cab was certainly a hit amongst drivers. Working in all weather conditions is far more comfortable.
