KKS Cold Storage had a unique beginning. It begun with a company called Rock Oyster, a food manufacturer to the retail and service markets. Like many other companies in the industry, Rock Oyster struggled in obtaining quality off site storage and logistics to support their business throughout the busy times. To overcome this situation, they created KKS Cold Storage; a cold storage company of their own. The Jungheinrich EFG216kn is the perfect machine for cold store environments. The battery electric forklift produces no emissions therefore capable of working in enclosed areas without any restrictions.

Capable of lifting 1,600kg, the cost effective machine will be used to manoeuvre stock around the warehouse floor and load goods onto trucks. Energy consumption is significantly reduced by using the advanced 3-phase AC technology. At maximum throughput, the EFG216kn consumes up to 15% less energy than competitor’s models.

The ergonomically designed operator cabin allows for relaxed operation with low fatigue, even during long shifts. Light and effortless steering, reduced noise, ample leg room and limited vibrations make for a better working environment for their operators.

As to be expected with all Jungheinrich machine, the EFG216kn includes a comprehensive range of safety equipment. The EFG216kn includes deactivation of the hydraulic functions if the seat is unoccupied, no roll-back on ramps or inclines due to the automatic parking break and automatic reduction of the travel speed when cornering thanks to Jungheinrich Curve Control.
