Mandalay Costerfield Mine is a large gold mine located in Costerfield, Central Victoria. After having a successful year in 2015 by producing and selling a record amount of gold and antimony it was time to upgrade their old two wheel drive forklift to something better suited to rough and slippery conditions.

The Manitou MX50-4 with a side shifting fork position was the perfect forklift for Mandalay Costerfield Mine. The machine is perfectly suited to handling operations on uneven terrain. The drivers cab windows allow for 360 degree visibility; vital when dealing with rough and uneven conditions. For maximum operator comfort, the suspended cab limits the intensity of vibrations felt. The cabin is also fully air-conditioned which will be appreciated by drivers in the warmer months.
