MANITOU "THUMBS UP" FOR NTP FORKLIFTS' NEW SYDNEY FACILITY
The recent relocation of NTP Forklifts Australia to its spacious new $7-million facility in the heart of Sydney’s premier industrial area has been welcomed by both the local Manitou subsidiary, Manitou Australia, and New South Wales customers.
NTP Forklifts Australia – a longstanding dealer for Manitou’s rough terrain forklifts and telescopic handlers, as well as Manilec’s battery electric stackers, pallet trucks and tow tractors – moved into its new 8,700m2 premises at 1 Woodville Road, Granville in mid-year.
The premises purchase is in line with NTP’s current and projected growth for Manitou in New South Wales and signals a strong vote of confidence in the area. The new facility will ensure that NTP continues to offer its burgeoning customer base with the best in products and support services.
Stuart Walker, the Commercial Manager for Manitou Australia, expressed excitement at the recent NTP initiative and its potential to enhance the Manitou and Manilec brands.
"Manitou Australia looks forward to working with NTP Forklifts Australia and our other dealers to expand this important market and draw on the strong relationship our two companies have enjoyed for more than a decade,” he said.
Indeed, since first securing the Manitou state dealer rights for South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, NTP Forklifts Australia has built an enviable reservoir of Manitou corporate and product knowledge.
Mr Walker’s sentiments were shared by Manitou customers who attended a late-September Open Day at the new Sydney facility, got a glimpse of the customer-friendly premises and inspected the comprehensive range of Manitou products on display.
"Customers were particularly appreciative of what we believe is our one-stop solution. We offer perhaps the most complete range of forklift and materials handling equipment in the country – from entry-level Hytsu pallet trucks and through the impressive Manitou and TCM ranges to the largest of Fantuzzi’s reach stackers. What’s more, our after after-sales service is supported by six service workshops and over 50 mobile service vans dotted throughout the country to ensure quick and convenient repairs and maintenance,” said NTP’s Sydney Branch Manager, Richard Di Matteo.
NTP Forklifts Australia is the sole Manitou dealer in South Australia, Queensland and Victoria and shares dealer rights in New South Wales. Its national spread takes in most states and territories, with branches in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Townsville and affiliates in Perth, Hobart and Darwin.
