Watpac website large

Watpac is one of Australia’s leading construction companies. For the last 30 years they have delivered expertise to the construction, civil, mining and property industry. Major projects including Entertainment Centres, Airports, Sporting Arenas, Schools, Office and Residential Towers as well as Civil and Mining projects are a testament to the capabilities of Watpac.

Watpac was recently awarded a major project involving constructing new government schools in Queensland. To achieve this project they required a machine to assist with lifting materials on site as well as clearing the land ready for construction. NTP Forklifts Australia, delivered a Manitou MTX-1440 with a P4000 lifting jib and a 4 in 1 bucket attachment

The MT-X 1440 telehandler is designer for applications where increased lifting height is required. With a lifting capacity of 4 tonnes and to heights of 14m, Watpac can safely move materials around the site thanks to the broad outriggers giving excellent lateral and front stability.

Watpac was very impressed with the MT-X 1440. They were expecting to hire in additional equipment to achieve the project but thanks to the telehandlers vast capabilities there was no need to. Watpac have also entered into a service agreement with NTP Forklifts Australia to ensure the unit is maintained in a pristine condition.
